I added the MyBlogLog widget to my blog a while ago. Today I will discuss ways how you can get traffic to your blog from MyBlogLog. You should start with being logged in all the time, this way your thumbnail picture will show up on someone else’s widget. This happens when you visit another MyBlogLog member’s website! When you use an attractive, cool, funny, etc. profile thumbnail picture you will stand out from the crowd and should get more clicks to your MyBlogLog profile page. It’s all about exposure!

Also add new friends and communities to your profile. You can add maximum 15 friends and communities every day! In order to find the same communities like yours or your audience use the search bar and just type in keywords related to your blog, in my case that would be internet marketing, online advertising, make money online, blogging, etc. Adding new members will probably get you more traffic to your blog. Especially new members are curious.

The good thing about adding communities is that your profile will show on top. Also other members who joined the same community are able to see your profile. This way you should also gain more visits. Besides that you can leave comments on a user’s profile, but don’t SPAM that will only work against you. You can reply to comments.

In order to get visitors to your profile page and therefore also to your blog or website, you must be active in MyBlogLog all the time. I visit my profile every day and also add friends, communities, etc. on a daily basis. This all results in building up my communities, members and receiving traffic to your blog. You must be continue active in order to benefit from MyBlogLog. Don’t expect a huge amount of traffic coming to your blog in the very beginning. It’s also about brand awareness! If users keep on seeing your thumbnail picture, profile, then that will result in more traffic coming to your profile and blog or website. Just keep on building!
